“Imprint” are tracks left by dishes laid on canvas covered with fresh dye, instead of on a tablecloth. Through this series, SIBE gives value and makes protagonist an aspect of the kitchen which is usually secondary and not appreciated, because considered as a mere support, means or container: the kitchen tool. “Imprint” are paintings that represent memories, and signs of forks, knives, spoons, glasses… The monochromaticy and the frequent recourse to neutral colours seem to underline the coldness and sterility usually associated with these objects.
